''The nature around us is constantly shaped by the elements. From the major changes through the ice ages to weather's daily impact on a mountain birch and sand on a beach. Soft lines and organic forms are created. Even a seemingly straight horizon has a slight curve. In our homes, we are surrounded by straight lines and digital surfaces, so a soft shape on an object can be a welcoming and comfortable place to rest our eyes.''

Use only a duster when cleaning the outside of the vase. The inside is glazed to hold water, but as ceramics is a porous material, we recommend that you let the vase dry between usage from time to time. We recommend that you store our products in their original packaging when not displayed, this to prevent damages while in storage. Please note that some flowers could stain and discolour the ceramic surface. In order to avoid we recommend considering removing the stamen beforehand.

Anders Pfeffer Gjendal is a respected artist from Norway with great sense of creativity and known for creating beautiful shapes. But this is only a small part of what Gjengedal has achieved. At the age of seven he started practicing dance and this laid the foundation for later studying ballet on several different academy’s over the world. He became very successful and a well-known ballet dancer but after many year of dance and injury’s he decided to do something else. Today Anders is creating art in his own workshop in Norway. Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal explores objects in wood and stone. From smaller sculptures and vases as produced for Cooee to larger thematic sculptures at curated exhibitions. The materials he finds locally in the area around the workshop in Asker, Norway. Ash, oak and granite play the leading role to become tactile and organic objects that gives a presence in the room. Cooee have developed some of his design in wood and found a new way to transform them to hollow ceramic vases with multiple use.
